Provenance: Vernazzano in the Tuoro sul Trasimeno area. The vineyards are on Pliocene age terrain of medium density, with excellent sun exposure at an altitude of circa 300 meters above sea level.
Harvest: Manually when the fruit is ripe
Grape varieties: Sangiovese 80%, Merlot 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Alcohol content: 12,5%
Colour: Intense ruby red.
Smell: Pleasant nose with hints of slightly spicy red fruit and brushwood.
Flavour: Harmonious and ample, persuasive and lightly savoury.
Vinification: The wine is made in steel containers, macerating for 14 days, at a controlled temperature of between 24 to 26°C.
Refinement: Left to ferment and age in oak barrels for 12 months, then transferred to bottles for another six months.
Serving temperature: 16° - 18 ° C
Combine with: A wine which goes with every dish, pasta, red meat, fowl, boiled meat, roasts, cold cuts and all types of cheeses.
