Provenance: Terontola near Cortona.
The vineyards are on semi hard Pliocene age land with good exposure to sunshine and at 350 mts above sea level.
Harvest: hand picked when ripe
Grape varieties: Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia Bianca and Grechetto
Alcohol content: 13,5%
Colour: Intense amber.
Smell: Intense, ripe over fruit and dry apricots
Flavour: Warm and soft, sweet, clean and encompassing.
Vinification: Grapes chosen at the start of the harvest and left to mature for a further three months. Musted and fermented in wood.
Aging: in wood for 3 years.
Serving temperature: 16° C
Combine with: Also good for meditation, but anyway a good companion to all dry desserts and leavened breads, great with chocolate.
